São Paulo – The Brazilian Space Agency and the Russian Aviation and Space Agency (Rosaviakosmos) should sign a cooperation agreement for modernization of the Brazilian rocket fleet. This information was provided today by the president of Rosaviakosmos, Yury Koptev, during a press conference in Moscow, informed Russian RBC news agency.
According to Koptev, a delegation of representatives from the agency and from the Russian government arrived in Brazil yesterday to negotiate the agreement.
Recently, Russian prime minister Boris Alyoshin declared that both countries could sign an aerospace agreement this year. The program should have funds of US$ 500 million to US$ 700 million up to 2008, informed RBC.
