Egyptian sector authorities are satisfied with the country’s food industry performance in the domestic and international markets. They spoke to ANBA at the Food Africa show.
Organizers report that the show in Egypt will host 900 exhibitors from 35 countries and 500 importers. The exhibition runs from next Tuesday (12) through December 14.
Featuring events in South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, and Indonesia, the Halal Brazil project has opened registration for Brazilian food and beverage companies interested in Muslim markets.
Brazil had a pavilion at the show in Egypt with seven companies marketing coffee, poultry and beef, confectionery goods, and supermarket supplies. The space was very popular in the show.

Egyptian international sales of dates reached USD 40 million last year, and the country’s Food Industry Export Council aims to reach USD 100 million by the end of 2024. The South American market is one of the focuses.
The Arab Brazilian Chamber is receiving applications from Brazilians interested in participating as buyers in food shows in Egypt in December. Applicants could be selected for Food Africa’s benefits program.
