The country recorded its best tourism result for January in the past decade. Over 1.4 million people from abroad visited Brazil last month.

Revenues during the first half of 2024 reached USD 6.6 billion, according to the Arab country’s Ministry of Tourism.
USD 29 billion went into the government’s coffers during the month, the highest result for the month since 2014.
Brazil shipped out over 1 million bags to the Arab market from January to September. Until August, exports had been declining.
The country shipped out 364,000 tons last month. Revenues dropped 8.8%, to USD 582 million.
Spending by international tourists in the country totaled USD 3.24 billion in the year’s first six months. Number of visitors rose 8%.
